- Great Price
Great price for 2kg tub of food supplement. You can mix it with water, but it's recommended you mix it with milk or it'll taste nasty. Also, you'll need a blender since stirring it with a spoon will just result in large chunks/clumps.
- Does exactly what it says
I first purchased this product in March of 2009. Using the recomended scoops mixed with skim milk and a little extra virgin olive oil (for more calories) I went from 138 lbs. to 156 lbs in 3 months. What previous reviewers have said is true. You MUST workout with this product, otherwise you will put on fat
- Best weight gainer I've tried
I've tried several weight gaining mixes and this is by far the best one. Some weight gainers have a lot of sugars in them making me feel sluggish and tired during the day. Not this one. Most of the energy in this mix comes from carbs and not sugars. Read the label on some of the other weight gainers and you'll see just how much sugars they put into their mixes! I use an Oster hand blender to mix it milk and it mixes really good and thick. I haven't tried the other flavors but I LOVE the chocolate. It's so far the best tastinng chocolate weight gainer I've tried. This weight gainer isn't the cheapest, nor is it the most expensive. It's a really good value.
- Very Helpful
I have never tried any weight gainers or meal replacements before so I don't have a terrific base for my opinion but I used 1 of these for a couple weeks and definitely found it useful. It gives you a full healthy meal (calorie and nutrition wise) without the time it takes to cook and eat a real meal. The only complaint I have is I feel this stuff really expands when it hits your stomach. This is undoubtedly due to the high carbs in it which is kind of the point of this but I could rarely have over 3/4 the serving size and the one time I used the full recommended use i became physically ill, not very nice. I plan to buy this again and would only suggest that people follow the directions to slowly work your way up to a full serving size. Besides that, blends well, tastes good, mixes with other things well. All in all I was very satisfied.
- Good Stuff
Great quick way to have a calorie-rich meal after a workout. Works pretty well in a shaker cup, helps to add about 1/2 water first, then a scoop, then top it off with water and shake.
Taste is not bad (I got the chocolate). It's not overly sweet but it is thick.
Value is pretty good, considering you're getting a good carb source (maltodextrin), 25g protein, vitamins and creatine all in one product. Combined with some greens plus and some fat (mix with milk), you've got a solid meal replacement that won't kill you from malnutrition.
Love the tub packaging - better than the bag (it splits sometimes).
- A must for people who do not regularly consume enough calories
I've been using this product for almost a month now and I've gained about 3 pounds. It doesn't taste too bad and you can add plenty of other calories to your blender to make this product last even longer. I've only taken 2 half servings of it daily. It obviously works, I've noticed at the gym that I have more energy and tend to use more weight and/or reps. Love this product, will gladly buy again.

The name really gives the item its class.100% satisfied moneywise and quality accepted .Will recommend it to anyone interested.Only one flaw ,the amount of the scoop is huge , will last for less than a month(if taken daily)
- Creamy Vanilla
Let me just say that this stuff works great. I gained 10 lbs. using this in just a week(2 a day/ 1 and a half scoops). If you add chocolate chips to the shake, it makes it a lot better and its recommended. I strongly encourage this product if your trying to gain weigh and/or muscle. Amazon has by far the best rates for this.
- Bottom Line - It works
The product goes almost twice as far as advertised and is very effective. I have needed to gain weight, and of course wanted muscle gain, not fat. I have only been using this for one month, and have added almost ten pounds. In combination with my exercise routine, I have developed muscle. The product is actually easy to mix if you put it in a large bowl and use a hand drink mixer or a whisk. I have only had to use slightly less than the recommended use, as it is too thick, and have still achieved these results. This is a great product, and Amazon has the best price, especially if you watch for the sales.

- It works
I've used 3 different gainers over the past 3 months. N Large, Muscle Milk and now Mass XXL. but Mass XXL seems to be doing the best job of them all. I've gained 5 lbs in the past 4 weeks or so - I put on 2 lbs in the same timeframe with Muscle Milk.
I don't use the recommended amounts - the provided scoop is ridiculously large, I can barely get it out of the container. I would say I used 2/3 the recommended amount with water. I have a shake in the morning, afternoon/evening and one around 11/12 at night.
It's not the most mixable of powders, with water, but it's ok with a blender. Just blend enough for a few days so you don't have to mess with it daily.
As a caveat, I do workout 5 times a week as well. I naturally don't eat humongous amounts of food and am what they call a hard-gainer. So if I gain weight with this stuff then it mus be pretty good.

This product is very much worth the money. I use it after my weight workouts and it has been very productive for my recovery. The only suggestion I would have to better this product is the quantity size that is needed for a whole scoop. The amount necessary for each scoop is quite large and so the product doesn't last very long. It becomes a little spendy, so if the price was lowered some then that would make up for the quantity used.
