Which Protein is right for me?

May 28 , 2010

It can be a bit confusing trying to work out which protein you should take. In this article we shall simplify which protein is right for you and when and how it should be taken. Firstly you need to realise that although there are differences between these proteins it is not going to be a disaster, if you happen to use one product instead of another. There are however key differences which will help you achieve your goals faster. The four major proteins are Whey Protein, Casein Protein, Isolate Protein & Egg Protein

WHEY PROTEIN

What is it?

Whey protein is the purest and richest source of protein. It contains large amount of branched chain amino acids, which are essential to reconstruct and rebuild muscle tissue.  Whey Protein is not only low in fat but also low in cholesterol and lactose. Whey Protein is commonly used for weight loss and maintaining lean muscle mass. Whey Protein is obtained from cow’s milk and not from any animal flesh, it should be preferred by vegetarians.
